Last week I went and did a Collections Christmas class at Scraptacular. I had a great time and just love my frame.

The class got me in the groove ...lol so I finally decorated and put together my ScrapWare Birdhouses.....loved doing this too.

I finally got a chance to sit down and have a play with the new opals colour - Abalone.

Heres what I came up with.

The flowers I made by making paper from the opals then I punched out the flowers. Then I embossed the flowers in the cuttlebug and rubbed them with some pink pearls.

I am pretty happy with how the LO came together.

Well its Sunday and fathers day and after a few wines last night I dont feel like doing anything much.
Seems like everyone elase around here is feeding off my inactivity....lol

Wow Its been ages since I last posted. Time flies when you are having fun.
I have been doing a bit of scrapping lately...I will share soon.
Jayde has been and come back from camp. Camp was quite local at Mt Evelyn just up the road but I think she felt like she was a world away. I think she actually missed us all too, which is nice. You reckon she was tired when she got back....lol I dont think they got alot of sleep. She went on the flying fox, rope swing and alot of hikes. She even had a snake around her neck when the wildlife man gave them a lecture on reptiles.
I havent been doing alot , just the same old .....lol
I am off to make chrissy cards at Fleur's on sunday......its getting close and I thought I would get a head start on the cards.
Thats it for now.
I promise it wont be that long between posts from now on.......yeah yeah I can hear u all say.....lol

I have moved house thats a big enough excuse I reckon. Especially when we moved ourselves with just a normal small trailer........all I can say is NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Next time I hire some nice strong men to do it all in one go.

Wow I cant believe how long its been since my last post.....I am slack I'm sorry. But I have been on holidays.....The kids and I went to Rosebud camping on the foreshore for a week. We had such a good time.

School has started for 2008.....yippee. Thats why i have scrapped. I had to cover Treys reader. The teacher said just get a patterned contact but Trey has a scrapper for a mother and well I couldnt just cover it with contact.....omg how bad a mother would I be.

I have just received another shipment of American Crafts Albums. I have restocked the modern albums and have now got the full range of their 12 x 12 D ring Cloth albums. And they are gorgeous I must say...I dont know which are my favourites now.

Ive been scrapping

As the title says YES I have been scrapping but not with my own creativeness. This week I did a KimArcher online workshop. It was great. I have created 2 LO's from the online workshop and one from here free online workshop. I am extremely happy with all 3 LO's. I am going to show you all 3 but remember they arent quite finished. I need to do the journalling.

Lets hope doing these will break my drought....lol I am off to Scrappy Hollow tonight for a crop.

Being surrounder by all the yummy things in the shop has to get me inspired.

A Simpsons of a day

Today I decided to take the kids out to Fountain Gate to see The Simpson's show they had on ( Thanks Fleur for telling me it was on) The kids loved it. Although they did say to me after the show "that wasn't the real Homer it was a man dressed up cos he didn't talk" OMG they are growing up....lol They were doing free photos of everyone with The Family. At first Trey would sit down but he changed his mind after awhile. I took my camera only to find it wouldnt work cos the batteries were flat...gawd I hate that. So I used my phone and not sure if they turned out cos I have no idea how to get them off the phone onto the puter. Will have to read the book tomorrow....I know I am hopeless.

Wow its Wednesday already and I still havent posted about last Sunday.

We all went for a drive to Dromana to help my brother out with a new computer. It was a very cold and windy day....so I hadnt planned on a walk to the beach at all. I must admit though its my favourite time of the year down there. Walking on the beach when its cold and deserted is just the best.

But the kids being kids wanted to go play on the beach. I drew the line at them swimming....lol

They nagged me all arvo. Finally I gave in and drove to the beach. Took a few pics and then went back to the nice warm fire.

Is was a good day .....I have decided we should do day trips more often and get out.

Hi all,

Well I went on another enjoyable retreat last weekend. This time to Warburton, Vic and I had a great time. Met some new people and did a fair bit of scrapping. I was good and actually made myself go to bed this time so no all nighters for me.

So now to share what I got done. A couple of these LO's I still need to do some journalling on.

Well last Tuesday night I went to my first ever Stampin Up workshop at Fleur's and had a blast. Fleur has become a SU ummmm what do u call your self Fleur? A SU person.....lol

We seen some great stamps and techniques used and made a gorgeous little card. Its a bit hard to visualise it opened but theres room to write something or add photos and writing. So its a very versatile.

I highly recommend you do a workshop with Fleur and check out all the gorgeous stamps that Stampin Up sell.

I am having a workshop here on the 27th April. If you would like to come u are most welcome just let me know so I can have a seat out for you.

It s been so long since I posted .....I just seem to be running out of hours and days lately.
Well I joined the YMCA and get my fitness assessment tomorrow...thats gonna be interesting and very embarrassing I know. I am just so unfit these days.

I have booked a seat at the Crop for Kids crop on Good Friday ...anyone else going that I know besides Fleur...lol I have been told the goodie bag u get when u arrive is well worth it...woohoo I love goodie bags.

Decisions Decisions

Well I did it and spent yesterday morning checking out Fernwood ladies gym and the local Curves. I didnt like Curves straight away, so that out. And Fernwood was very intimidating to me. I am not and have never been a gym junkie and all the rather large equipment is scary.
I wanted to sign up for the biggest loser challenge which is 12 weeks and can do that but when i do that I automatically sign up for 12 months.Its alot of money a week alot of scrapping supplies I tell u. But I need to do something just not sure if thats the way to go. Will I have the commitment for 12 months ....I dont know.
Oh the delemour of it all.
Anyone out there go to a gym regularly?

Hi everyone,

Well its Friday again...geez that come around quick. Where did the week go????

I had a good day today ......went out to lunch with a friend I havent seen for a few weeks. Life gets in the way of friendships sometimes....its sad but it does.

I will share my latest LO with you all. I have been playing with my craft robo and did the flourish and title on it. I didnt like the brightness of my background PP but I wanted to use it so I white washed it.....thanks Fleur ....its one of her techniques. Then I used texture paste and many colours of paint and stamped the flowers. A bit of doodling and thats about it.

We had parent/teacher interviews this arvo. Both Jayde and Trey have settled into school very well. I am so glad to hear that. I was a bit worried about how Trey was going to go. I knew Jayde would be ok she has always loved school. She is the big girl in the class too and she will be in her element being the leader....lol
I had Trey home yesterday and gawd I cant wait till March starts when he starts going 5 days a week.
I have been a bit out of touch this week. I have had a couple of baby albums I was doing for a lady and well its taken ages so I got off my butt and have finished them ......woohoo. I was getting really sick of doing them. So now I will have some pocket money for the retreat I am going on early March. I am so looking forward to a weekend away in luxury too which is a bonus.

I did this LO for PipeDream Ink a couple of weeks ago. But I just wanted to share with you all how I used the Crop a Dile to turn the round and oval bazzill chips into buttons. I used the fabulous must have Crop a dile to make the holes. This tool is fabulous and should be on your must have list.

Well its day 2 of being home and having no kids. yesterday I was so busy I never even had a chance to think about it. But today is a different story....lol
I dropped the kids off at school and came straight home. Made a coffee and hit my scrapping room.
I had an idea for a LO in my head and I had to create. Treys first day at school LO.
I am pretty pleased with it. It turned out fairly close to what was in my head. I am not sure about the font I used on the title now I have scanned it. I think it will grow on me. If not I will change it.....lol
Now I am going to get some exercise and mow the lawn.

Last day of January

Tomorrow is the last day of January and all I can say is WOOHOO school starts.....lol
I am so looking forward to having a break with the two kids at school. I have been very on edge the last couple of weeks. I have had no patients whatsoever. I havent done alot of scrapping either which I think is half my problem. I have all these ideas and projects in my head and havent had a chance to do them. I get very frustrated when I cant scrap. Its like cooking to me I release all my stresses when I scrap and cook. I just relax into what I am doing.
So tomorrow Jayde starts school and then Thursday Trey starts. Trey goes for half days this week then full days with wednesday off for the rest of Febuary. Hes starting to get very excited now.
And shock horror
I am organised. Just got to iron on labels on all their clothes and hats and I am done.

Hi All,

We are back from our week of camping on the foreshore at Rosebud. The kids and I had a ball. Jayde was hardly out of the water and her surfboard (xmas pressie) was attached to her. Trey enjoyed his board too but he had the best time riding his bike everywhere around the camping grounds. I had a rest too......hardly seen the kids. I read a book called Bad Ground about the Beaconsfield miners being trapped underground for almost 2 weeks. I couldnt put it down. I read most of Rebecca Sowers two books too which gave me alot of food for thought about my scrapbooking. I almost finished a mini album i took to do. So as you can see I was productive too. It was the best place to go for a holiday with young kids. The water was shallow all the time and I had hardly any stress about them swimming. Theres alway a stress value there but nothing like it would be in deep water. You'll see what I mean in the photos. Bob and I packed the tent up in the pouring rain....that was fun. Glad it wasnt cold. Actually I really enjoyed being carefree and walking around in the rain saturated. I use to walk alot pre kids in my carefree days. In fact Ihave decided to be a bit more spontaneous and carefree this year.

Heres another LO I have done for PipeDream Ink today.This one is a double....I really am out of my comfort zone doing them.
Most od the brads are opalled, the squares are opalled and then Ive used a texture mat on them to give them a paattern. The little circles are chipboard....and yes very fiddly to do. The title is opalled too.

We are now well and truly into January and I actually had some time to scrap today. Its been awhile and I was getting a bit worried I had lost my mojo cos it took a bit to get me started.

Well the boxes were a huge hit with the girls. I think the teachers liked their letters. They were rushed with pressies when they opened up Jaydes so its understandable.
So now schoolad kinder are over for the year....oh boy. I must admit I am not going to miss making lunches and having to be out by 8:30am every morning BUT and its a big BUT I am not looking forward to having 2 ARGUEMETATIVE kids home 24/7 for 6 weeks....LOL. I willjust have to keep them busy.

My Weekend

WOOHOO the kids are off to my mums tonight for a sleep over. That means I will be out scrapping at Lost in Time at Epping tonight. Sue has an all day pizza and crop day once a month.
Tomorrow I am looking forward to too. I am helping Alison and Maynard with the AED Trade show at Rydges in Richmond. I always enjoy helpingout and meetingallthe shop owners. This one is going to be special cos the very talented ladies from Pipe Dream Ink are involved too.
I will be in my glory all day. I am on the design team of both companies.

Family Day

We had a family day last Sunday and went on a little picnic to Cardinia Dam east of Melbourne.
Found a fanatastic picnic ground with a huge playground for the kids. Hardly seen them all day.
Took a walk on one of the walking tracks. It was a great day had by all. We will definitely be going back.
I'll share some pics when I work out how to.....lol

Well I went to MPE ( Melb Paperific ) and had a blast doing the make and takes at the AED stand. I had a chance to catch up with some people I havent seen for ages. It was great. I did a little shopping but didnt break the bank.

Welcome everyone to my blog.
I just wanted to let everyone know that as of last week I became a Scrapanalia Consultant.
That means from now on I will having crop nights at my place on Monday and Wedesday nights 7.30pm till late at a cost of $7 . I am also running classes here on the odd Thursday nights. Or you can come over have a cuppa and check out what I have for sale. I can also do parties at your place, just conatct me if you are interested in a party.
